Facilitated by an experienced drummer that has worked in social care, the NHS and Higher Education for the last 10 years. I have a lot of experience in working with neurodiverse individuals and groups, both in the community as well as in Higher Education and mental health settings. In these sessions, I intend to bring my work experience and group facilitation and musical skills, to use music as a communication channel. The aim therefore is, to explore creativity, connectivity and expression; hopefully providing a safe space where attendees can experiment, interact with others and have fun.

GROUP SESSIONS
Inclusive drumming workshops tailored to the needs of those with learning difficulties, special education needs, autism and or ADHD, as well as for those with emotional and mental health or behavioural difficulties. I will come to your residential care home, school, day centre, advice service or community centre, with an array of percussion instruments such as djembe, bongo, cajon box, snare drum, bass drum, among others. I will ensure we find an instrument for everyone, so the inclusive drumming is also accessible to all abilities. A highly neurodiversity experienced facilitator, who also has experience with working in mental health settings will design the sessions depending on the needs of the attendees
£20 per attendee – 60 mins
MAX 12 participants per session

1:1 SESSIONS
Personalised drumming sessions with a neurodiversity and mental health experienced teacher to learn how to play drums or to follow up from the inclusive drumming group workshops. As a carer, you might feel that your relative or service user has benefited from the inclusive group sessions, and that having 1:1 sessions could be a good idea to provide them with a sense of purpose or routine or to develop this new interest.
These sessions could take place at your residence or house, as well as in my studio, where I will provide tailored inclusive drumming sessions. This is also an opportunity to start playing on a drum-kit, or maybe trying other percussion instruments.
£30 – 60 mins

CORPORATE WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS
Different drumming workshops tailored to your organisation to improve relationships at work, as well as to develop cooperation, coordination, connection, sense of belonging and wellbeing. I can design unique activities to connect with your working reality and target identified areas of improvement.

The benefits of inclusive drumming
Drumming is a truly holistic approach that has been proven to decrease social barriers while promoting freedom of expression. Clinical studies have proven that drumming has calming, focusing, and healing effects on children and adults with ASC, ADHD or mental health and emotional difficulties. Drumming has also proven beneficial in the treatment of many medical conditions such as stress, fatigue and anxiety. Inclusive drumming can help neurodivergent individuals and those with learning difficulties to improve their wellbeing and executive function.
